Online Success News Relaunched

Online Success News Sep 09 Dr. Jeanette Cates has released the newly remodeled Online Success News. Originally established in 2002, Online Success News (OSN) has been published continuously since 2002 via email.

Online Success News fills a gap in the marketplace by providing content for new and intermediate level marketers. Intermediate marketers are those making money online – but who haven’t gotten to the million dollar mark yet. They are vastly underserved with information online.

“This is a big departure from our former plain text email newsletter. This is a professionally designed, full color magazine, delivered as a PDF,” said Cates. “We’ll release a new issue each month, with short email updates weekly.”

The OSN magazine uses a computer-friendly format that opens on your screen without requiring any scrolling. Instead you can use the up and down arrows in your PDF Reader to move between pages – or link from the Table of Contents.

Texting While Driving Warning: This is one of my rants. So if this isn’t a good time to get your blood pressure up, read the next article instead.

They are trying to pass a new law here in Texas to prevent people from texting while driving. DUH!

I don’t know anyone who can juggle a cell phone, find the tiniest keys in the world – and watch traffic, while using the steering wheel – and still make sense of the text message. Something’s gotta give – and unfortunately in many cases it’s been people’s lives.

What Kind of Website Investor are You?

In some ways doing business on the Internet is like real estate investing: There are different business models that are successful. For example, in real estate there are three different models of involvement:

– The pure investor. This person puts money into a deal, but has no direct involvement in it. They don’t visit the property, they don’t collect the rent. They did their research and made their decision. Now it’s strictly hands- off.

– The flipper. This person buys houses, may or may not fix them up, then resells them for a profit. They don’t collect the rent, they don’t have a long-term involvement. They are in and out quickly.

Are you making it too complex? This is a really simple business. Basically there are only a few parts.

1. Choose a market

This is the group of people you are going to sell to. There is no magic to this process. You merely choose the people you want to serve.

Sometimes it’s a group of people you are a part of. For example, you like to play golf, so you sell to golfers.

Sometimes, it’s a group of people who are likely to buy. For example, even if you are not a golfer you know that golfers are always trying to improve their game, so you choose to serve the golfers’ market.
