Networked Blogs is one of the Facebook apps that applies to you, as a Blogger. So let’s review WHY you want to use the Networked Blog application.
Since Networked Blogs is integrated with Facebook, it means that once your blog “qualifies” it will appear on your Profile page. This is the page where your Wall appears.
Each time you post to your blog, it will show up on your Wall, along with a thumbnail of the blog post. So that automatically gives you another bit of fame and makes it stand out.
And of course, that means that it also shows in your friends’ news feed. So they see the image and the blog post.
You can also add a Blog tab to your profile. So anyone wanting to see your most recent blog posts can just click on the Blog tab right there at the top of your page.
Of course, for all of this magic syndication to take place, you first need to add your blog to the Networked Blogs application – and add that to your Facebook account.
In our next post, we’ll look at the HOW of setting up your Networked Blog.

I agree Networked Blogs is great and am looking forward to learning more about how to really use is.
Thanks
Hey Dr. Jeanette,
This is an awesome tool. I tried to install Google Friend Connect on my blog too and I could not figure out why it wasn’t showing up. But you made me realize with this post that maybe my blog doesn’t qualify. Hopefully when I get a little more activity it will show up because that is an awesome tool as well. Thanks for this post.

More ‘fame’ and publicity for the blogs is always a good idea! thanks for the recommendation and I look forward to your HOW to make sure I have it set up correctly.
