But ask yourself - do you NEED that level of expertise? For many tasks you need someone who can follow your directions and type things into a browser. I have had luck in finding people in Craigslist, through friends, through asking my list of subscribers for help, and hiring people from other countries. I've paid as little as nothing (for apprentices) and as much as $85 per hour. It depends on the task I need to have done. I'm currently researching what services VAs offer, how much they charge, and how long it takes to do different tasks and so far most US Virtual Assistants charge $30 per hour and up with a minimum of several hours.
