The Min 7 Blog Challenge is the shorter version of the 30-Day Blog Challenge. In the Mini 7 you just need to write 7 blog posts in June!
In order to participate you need:
- A blog (we recommend WordPress, but any type of blog will do)
- A desire to build your traffic, content and confidence by writing at least 7 blog posts
Here are the guidelines for the Blog Challenge:
- You must post to your blog daily. You can post more often if you like, but you must have 7 posts in June to qualify. (Note that you can join after June 20 – just start from where you are.)
- Each blog post should be at least 150 written words. You can use audio or video, but they will not count as a blog post unless accompanied by the words.
- All blog posts must be made to the same blog.
- You must tweet each blog post to @JeanetteCates – with your post title, URL and the suffix #mini7 #blog30 so that others will know you have posted to your blog each day.
- You are strongly encouraged to look at other participants’ blogs – and add comments to their posts.
- Your blog must be “family friendly.”
- Your name must be on your blog so that we can easily identify it as yours.
- You must sign up to participate in the Mini 7 Blog Challenge. Once signed up you will be taken to the “member site” for Mini 7 participants where you can post your profile. This will facilitate communication among participants – and also provide you with an instructional course on making the most of the Blog Challenge.

Great idea for all bloggers. All of us can do 7 posts!

I felt discouraged because I had signed up two weeks ago or something and am on a book tour and have gotten behind….then I saw there was another way I could do it and I felt cheered up! Now I am really ready, thanks for being steadfast and encouraging.
hello from Montana:
I am getting more blog posts done than I thought I would. Since they are remodeling the kitchen, no use cleaning or cooking.
Doing some interesting research on Cyberbullying. Check it out at the blog site and be sure to network the blog. I will return the favor.
