How often have you found yourself doing something the “hard way” rather than taking the time to figure out an easier solution?
I just did it again. Here I was summarizing the blog posts that talked about lessons learned and results from the blog challenge – but I was doing it the HARD way! You see I was:
- Clicking on a member profile
- Checking the RSS feed (if any) for an entry about Blog30
- Copying the article title
- Copying the article URL
- Going back to the main list to do it all over again!
What a time-consuming task! I was thinking “uh oh – what if I miss someone” – and that’s when it hit me!
Just ask THEM to post their article title and link.
DUH!
How many times have you spent more time than you should have on a task – because you didn’t stop ahead of time and ask yourself if there was an easier way?
